I joined NCSA in July 2001 after completing my Ph.D. in computer sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at UW-Madison, I was a research assistant for the Condor project. My UW-Madison homepage lists my Ph.D. research publications. I'm a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the UIUC Association of Academic Professionals. I was one of six employees to receive the 2006 Chancellor's Academic Professional Excellence award. I was interviewed for the March 2006 edition of the Globus Consortium Journal. I was profiled in the Five in Focus section of the NCSA Access magazine Summer 2006 issue.
