Sunport Shuttle offers door-to-door shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Their counter is located on the first floor of the airport across from Baggage Claim 3 (Southwest). Driving Directions to the Conference/Hotel from Albuquerque International Airport are as follows:

  1. Take Yale Ave. exit to Gibson Blvd.
  2. Turn left on Gibson.
  3. Proceed to I-25.
  4. Travel north to Dr. Martin Luther King Ave. exit.
  5. Proceed west on King to 6th St.
  6. Turn left.
  7. Follow 6th St. to Tijeras.
  8. Turn left.
  9. Hotel is on Tijeras on right.

Parking charges at the hotel are currently as follows:

Registration Badges

Your registration badge must be worn to all meeting events. Badges will be checked at the entrance to technical session areas. Attendees without badges will be directed to the registration desk to pick up their badges and register. All attendees, including speakers, panelists and faciliators, must register and pay the registration fee.

Session Room Setup and Audio-Visual Services

  • Each session room will be equiped appropriately with a front podium; front table and chairs for speakers, panelists and faciliatators; and microphones for speakers, panelists, faciliatators and attendees.
  • LCD (computer) projectors and overhead projectors will be available in all session rooms.
  • Additional audio-visual equipment will only be available if you have previously contacted the Technical Program Chair, Mark A. Friedman (DrMarkAFriedman@gmail.com).

Preparation for your Presentation

Here is a quick checklist to help you prepare for your presentation:

  • Bring your laptop or overhead slides to your session. We do not provide laptops for the presentations.
  • Arrive at your session at least 15 minutes early.
  • Bring your AC power adaptor with you. Do not rely on battery power.
  • Bring overhead transparencies as a backup.
  • Set up and test the connection to the projector before the session begins.
  • Session rooms will be available on Thursday and Friday mornings from 7:00am to 8:00am and at breaks so that you may test your laptop using the session room equipment.
  • There will be no Internet connection in the session rooms.
  • T-Mobile Hotspot Wireless Broadband is available in the guest rooms and public areas. A daily fee may apply.
  • A student helper will be available at your session to assist you should you have questions or encounter problems during your session.
