Display Wall-in-a-box (DWiB) |
|
|
The NCSA Display Wall-in-a-Box includes guidelines for building a tiled display wall, along with a collection of software for displaying imagery on the wall. We describe how to build a wall and connect it to a cluster of Linux PCs. Guidelines for building the wall include information on choosing machines and graphics accelerators, evaluating projectors, and selecting screens. The Display Wall-in-a-Box software toolkit includes simple applications for movie playback, as well as complete visualization tools that can be displayed on the tiled wall.
