Using the National Microbial Pathogen Data Resource

Friday, September 15, 2006

8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (CDT)
Room 1030 of the NCSA Building, 1205 W. Clark St., Urbana, IL [Driving Directions]

Description:

The National Microbial Pathogen Data Resource (NMPDR), www.nmpdr.org, will hold a training workshop on the use of NMPDR resources for comparative genome analysis. NMPDR is a Bioinformatics Resource Center funded by NIAID to curate functional data for more nearly 50 strains of nosocomial or food-borne, Category B pathogens. The resource includes more than 400 additional genomes that support our method of annotation through comparative analysis.

Registration:

This workshop is free of charge, but registration is required. Attendance is limited to the first 30 registrants. Complete the registration form at - http://nmpdr.ncsa.uiuc.edu/content/workshop.php
